This one-day course run by the awarding body AQA is aimed at teachers of Classical Civilisations at Key Stages 4 and 5.
Teachers will explore ways in which their students can make the richest use of the resources available when visiting museums.
The day will provide ideas on lesson planning and related activities, and consider how such visits can be integrated into successful teaching. It features sessions led by British Museum experts, including artefact handling.
