  • Each Global Partner’s Chief Executive Officer or Chairman receives an invitation for two to the Museum's exclusive annual dinner
  • Each Chief Executive Officer or Chairman is invited to the Museum’s opening reception for every major exhibition.
  • Other company staff may be invited to Museum hosted private views and international exhibition openings 

Global Partner recognition

The Global Partners are thanked for their support in the following ways:

  • On the British Museum website which receives up to seven million visitors a year
  • In the British Museum review which is widely circulated to British Museum supporters and the UK Government
  • On a panel of acknowledgement in the British Museum visible to the nearly five million international visitors the Museum welcomes each year

Additional privileges

  • 10 complimentary copies of the British Museum review
  • Up to 100 complimentary copies of the Museum’s guide, What’s On
  • Up to 50 complimentary copies of the British Museum Magazine

Global Partnership fees

£35,000 (plus VAT) per annum or a three-year membership (£94,500 plus VAT) which includes the ability to carry over any events not used in previous years.

These fees include the use of galleries for private receptions and dinners. The costs of catering and other external services are met by the Global Partner.
