Dress and ornament in Asia
Asia is such a vast region that it is not surprising that there have been many different styles of dress. In East Asia, both men and women preferred to wear loose clothing. However, in India and Southeast Asia, clothes often fitted the body tightly.
Today many people choose western clothes like jeans and skirts for everyday wear, and only put on their traditional garments for special occasions such as weddings.
