The enlightened Buddha

Prince Siddhartha became the Buddha after realising that to avoid suffering people should follow a middle path without extremes.

This is the Buddha preaching his first sermon in a deer park. He drew a wheel on the ground and spoke about how his existence is like a never-ending circle. The Buddha’s teaching is known as ‘the Wheel of the Law'.

This picture is taken from a stone carving. Download the enlightened Buddha to colour in. Use different colours to decorate this scene.
