Pattern in textiles
A textile is any type of cloth. Some of the best examples of pattern are on textiles. They are 2-dimensional (flat) and so it is easy to reproduce pattern on to them. Textiles are often very big, so the patterns need to be repeated many times. Have a look at the huge rolls of curtain material in any large store and you will see this.
People like to wear patterns in their clothing, and to display patterns on carpets and wall hangings in their houses. You probably have a pattern of some sort on the clothes that you are wearing right now - have a look and see.
