The British Museum
This display juxtaposes works by three artists, Sadegh Tirafkan from Iran, Muhammad Zeeshan from Pakistan, and Khadim Ali, of Afghan origin but born and raised in Pakistan. It highlights the enduring power of the arts of the Safavids and the Persian miniature, and demonstrates how artists create works inspired by the style and themes expressed within them, lending them new resonances in today's world.
