Sudanese Bronze Helmet

'The object that we looked at is a called a Sudanese helmet. It is made out of bronze and belonged to a rich warrior. It was made in the 19th century, the height is 35cm and it is decorated with Arabic writing. Only a Muslim wore it because in the picture we saw near the display there was a group of Muslims wearing similar armour and fighting.'
