Sudan: ancient treasures

As part of the 'Sudan: ancient treasures' exhibition, children from the Sudanese Supplementary School took part in a workshop that involved thinking about objects as archaeologists and curators would do. The children worked in groups, focusing on one object to start, before moving to the gallery to look at objects in the exhibition and think about the way these were displayed.

Their responses to the objects they looked at and their interpretations were recorded during the workshop. They also made drawings of chosen objects from the exhibition and took photos.
