Ganjifa playing cards

Indian playing cards are called ganjifa and are usually round. These ones are made of cloth which has been varnished to make it hard. The cards have eight suits which show life in the court of Emperor Akbar the Great (AD 1542-1605). Have a look for crowns, gold and silver coins, swords, servants, harps, documents and stores.
