Containers

Containers

What do you use containers for? To hold your packed lunch? To keep your pens and pencils together? What other containers do you use at home and in the classroom? Containers are used for many purposes, but how were they used in the past?

Egyptians used containers to hold body organs, Greeks used them to keep wine and tell stories, and ancient documents and objects have long been found in containers buried deep in the ground. Containers have been used to keep needles, pens, brushes, jewellery, cosmetics, spices, tea….can you add to the list?
