World Conservation and Exhibitions Centre

Construction October 2012

In October 2012 the formation of the steel superstructure commenced which will form the upper levels of the new Centre. These will house a new modern, accessible exhibition space, offices for staff and state of the art conservation studios. Studios are arranged under large roof lights in order to make maximum use of the high quality north light required for many conservation activities.

Demolition July 2010

Demolition work began on the World Conservation and Exhibitions Centre site in spring 2010.

Throughout the duration of the project levels of vibration generated by the building works has been carefully monitored.
