This exhibition was developed in partnership with Tunbridge Wells Museum and Art Gallery.

A Walk on the Wild Side features some of the British Museum’s world-famous collection of prints and drawings by artists such as Rembrandt, Albrecht Dürer, George Stubbs and Francisco de Goya. In an exploration of our relationship with animals, from the early Renaissance period through to the twentieth century, the exhibition creates a dialogue into why humans have an enduring fascination and curiosity about the animal kingdom through beautiful and bizarre imagery.
