Government transparency agenda

As part of the UK government commitment to transparency the British Museum is making available information about its structure, pay
and expenditure.

Grading structure and pay ranges

The Museum has a job family pay structure. Members of staff are allocated to pay spines within each job family according to their responsibilities and competencies.

Job families

Each of the five families is made of a number of clusters, level 1 being the most junior.
