The Department of Coins and Medals will be closed for maintenance from Monday 3 June - Monday 10 June.
The Study Room will be closed during this period and any coins brought for identification will need to be left on deposit for collection at a future date. Alternatively a scan of the coins can be taken and the identification returned by email. We apologise for any inconvenience.
The Department of Coins and Medals offers public access to its collections and expertise in as many ways as possible.
The reception area for the department can be found in room 69a. The department is open weekdays 10.00-13.00 (except Wednesdays), and 14.15-16.00 (closed on bank holidays).
