Terms and conditions
- Participants who book online at the British Museum website
(excludes third party ticket seller websites) for evening timeslots
from 17.00 Thursdays and Fridays, as well as any specially
extended late nights on offer from 1-26 October 2008 are valid for
entry.
- Entry is open to all permanent residents of the United
Kingdom.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be
entered into. Prizes cannot be transferred. Prizes cannot be
redeemed for cash.
- The draw for the winner will take place on Friday 7 November at
12.00 (GMT) at the British Museum. If the winner is under the age
of 18 years the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal
guardian.
- The promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide
proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize
delivery address. Identification considered suitable for
verification is at the discretion of the promoter.
- The promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to
take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the promoter
determines, in its absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the
mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely
participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize
that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form
determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
- If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as
planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention,
fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which
corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or
integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter
reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any
individual who tampers with the entry process.
- Employees of the British Museum, Regione Lazio, Department of
Economic Development, Research, Innovation and Tourism, their
immediate families, their agencies and companies associated with
the promotion are ineligible to enter.
- The winner will be notified by email. If the winner does not
claim the prize within the two weeks of the email being sent, they
will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be drawn.
- The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage
whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct
or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or
sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability
which cannot be excluded by law.
- Prize is as follows:
Return flights from London to Rome for two people
Accommodation at the 4*sup. Hotel Universo for five nights,
including breakfast
Special Hadrian inspired tour: Saturday morning tour to Hadrian’s
Villa in Tivoli
Dinner for two at Ristorante Nuova Stella to the value of € 50
per person
Travel must be completed by 28 February 2010. Travel is not
permitted during 6 – 8 December and 24 December – 7 January.
All elements of the prize are subject to availability. All travel
is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Regione Lazio, Department
of Economic Development, Research, Innovation and Tourism and the
prize winner must complete and sign a ‘booking form’ to state that
they agree with these conditions. The prize winner is responsible
for arranging their own travel insurance, passports and visas if
required.
- In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not
take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter
then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and
cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
